Have you been given an iPad, other tablet or mobile phone and don’t know where to start? Would you like to learn about tablets on one of our iPad or Samsung tablets? A fortnightly ‘hands on’ session for beginners keen to develop skills and confidence in using the internet, sending emails, attaching photographs and more. Tech Savvy mentors will help to provide one to one assistance and small group tuition. All welcome!
How do I pay bills online? How does PayPal work? How do I make hotel reservations?What is a travel blog? We may be able to help with and answer these questions and more......... Topics include

A fortnightly ‘hands on’ group for confident internet users who are adept at basic use of their smart devices (Android or Apple) and proficient in the installation of apps. Time will be set aside to troubleshoot problems; to consolidate skills in using Cloud based programs such as Google Apps and to explore the connectivity of smart devices.

Are you reasonably ‘Tech Savvy’, keen to continue developing your knowledge base and to assist others to develop digital literacy? Then this ‘Tech Savvy’ discussion group may be of interest. Monthly meetings include viewing of topical ‘TED Talks’; sharing of ideas; news of the latest IT developments; presentations on topics of interest by class members or guest speakers. New in 2017! Tech Savvies further reading and discussion group at Rustik cafe on the 4th Thursday at 3 pm—contact Les on 5762 7600.

U3A Benalla and District's website and this 'Tech Savvy Drop In' website will play an important role in communicating with you during the course. If you don't feel confident using the internet, you can first work with a mentor/s on a 'Treasure Hunt' designed to help you develop skills and confidence in using the U3a website on the internet. A shorter 'Treasure Hunt' has also been developed for this 'Tech Savvy Drop In' website (see handouts above).
